Chapter 1｜General Provisions

• Article 1: The association is named "Chinese Psychological Association".

Remarks: The Association has been approved to change its name to "Taiwanese Psychological Association" by the Ministry of the Interior, No. 0920042512 letter dated November 17, 1992.

• Article 2: The purpose of this association is to study psychology and academics.

• Article 3: The Association is located in the seat of the Central Government of the Republic of China, but may be established in other regions after the approval of the competent authority due to the needs of the conference.

• Article 4: The association takes the national administrative region as the organization area, and may establish hierarchical organizations.

Chapter 2 | Mission

• Article 5: The tasks of the Association are as follows:

1. Psychological academic research matters.

2. Regarding the collection of psychological academic data.

3. About the publication and distribution of psychological academic books and periodicals.

4. About the contact matters of domestic and foreign psychological academic research institutions.

5. Regarding other related psychological academic matters.

Chapter 3｜Members

• Article 6: Anyone who agrees with the purpose of the association and conforms to one of the following clauses can apply for membership; after the approval of the board of directors and payment of the membership fee, they can become members of the association.

1. Graduated from the psychology department of a domestic or foreign university or a department of the same nature with a bachelor's degree or above.

2. Engaged in psychological academic research work and have specialized authors.

• Article 7: Members of the Association shall enjoy the following rights:

1. The right to speak, vote, and propose a proposal (required to be jointly signed by five members).

2. The right to vote, be elected and the right to recall, each member (member representative) has one right.

3. The club holds various business interests.

4. other public entitlements.

• Article 8: Members of the Association shall have the following obligations:

1. Comply with the constitution and decision of the association.

2. Perform tasks assigned by the Association.

3. Pay membership dues.

• Article 9: When a member violates laws, regulations, or does not abide by the resolutions of the general assembly, he or she may be given a warning or suspended by the decision of the board of directors.

• Article 10: Members who have one of the following circumstances will lose their membership:

1. die.

2. Those who have been removed by the resolution of the general meeting.

• Article 11: Members who fail to pay membership dues for one year will lose their membership and cannot exercise their right to vote and be elected, but they can be restored once they are paid.

• Article 12: Members can declare their withdrawal from the association in writing and stating the reasons.

• Article 13: After the member leaves or withdraws from the membership, the fees paid will not be refunded.

Chapter 4｜Organization Staff

• Article 14: The Association takes the General Assembly as the highest authority; the Council is the executive body, which will act on its behalf during the closing of the General Assembly; the Supervisory Committee is the supervisory body.

• Article 15: The resolution of the general meeting shall be implemented by more than half of the attendees, and the majority of the attendees agree to implement it. However, resolutions on the following matters shall be implemented with the consent of more than two-thirds of the attendees:

1. Bylaws and changes.

2. Remove directors and supervisors.

3. Decide on the annual budget and settlement.

4. Member's removal penalty.

5. Disposition of property.

6. Dissolution of the group.

• Article 16: The Association shall have fifteen directors, three alternate directors, five supervisors, and one alternate supervisor, who shall be elected by the general meeting or correspondence to organize the board of directors and the board of supervisors. Correspondence elections may be conducted on a continuous basis, and the regulations for correspondence elections shall be formulated separately. The council members elect three executive directors from each other, organize the executive council, and the supervisory committee elect one executive supervisor from each other. In the event of vacancies of directors and supervisors, alternate directors and alternate supervisors will be filled at one time, within the limit of the remaining term of office of the original one.

• Article 17: The functions and powers of the Council are as follows:

1. To decide on the convening of the general meeting.

2. Verify membership qualifications.

3. Election or dismissal of executive directors and directors.

4. To resolve the resignation of the director, executive director or chairman.

5. Hire and dismiss staff.

6. Formulate annual work plans, reports, budgets and final accounts.

7. The board of directors and supervisors may propose a reference list of candidates for the next term of directors and supervisors.

8. Other matters to be implemented.

• Article 18: The association may have one chairman, who shall be elected by the directors from among the executive directors. The chairman manages the affairs of the association internally, represents the association externally, and serves as the chairman of the general meeting and council. If for some reason unable to perform the duties, one executive director shall be appointed to act as the representative.

• Article 19: The functions and powers of the Supervisory Committee are as follows:

1. Supervise the execution of the work of the Council.

2. Review annual accounts.

3. Election or removal of executive supervisors.

4. To resolve the resignation of supervisors and executive supervisors.

5. Other matters to be monitored.

• Article 20: The association may have one secretary general and several other staff members, who will be hired by the council.

• Article 21: The directors and supervisors of the Association are all voluntary duties.

• Article 22: The term of office of directors and supervisors of the Association is two years, and may be re-elected. The term of office of the chairman is two years and cannot be re-elected.

• Article 23: Directors and supervisors who have any of the following circumstances shall be dismissed immediately:

1. Those who lose membership.

2. Those whose resignation is approved by the board of directors or the board of supervisors.

3. removed or dismissed.

4. Those who are subject to suspension for more than half of their term of office.

5. Two consecutive unexcused absences are deemed to resign.

• Article 24: The Association may establish various committees as needed, and its establishment and articles of association must be approved by the General Assembly.

• Article 25: The Association may set up professional groups as needed, and its articles of association must be reviewed and recorded by the general meeting.

• Article 26: The Association may appoint several honorary directors to assist in promoting the academic research and professional development of psychology.

Honorary directors are nominated by the chairman of the board for those who have long-term and significant contributions to the purpose and tasks of the association. More than half of the directors of the board of directors are approved for appointment, and the term of office is not limited. Honorary directors are also allowed to sit on the board of supervisors to provide advice.

Chapter 5｜Conference

• Article 27: The membership meeting of the Association is divided into two types: regular meetings and temporary meetings. It is convened by the chairman. The meeting should be notified in writing fifteen days before. Regular meetings are held once a year; ad hoc meetings are held when the board of directors deems it necessary, or at the request of more than one-fifth of the members, or when the board of supervisors requires a letter to convene.

• Article 28: The Council of Supervisors of the Association is held once every three months, the Standing Council and the Standing Supervisory Committee are held once a month, and the Chairman of the Board may hold an interim Supervisory Committee when necessary.

Chapter 6｜Expense Accounting

• Article 29: The funds of the Association shall be charged in the following paragraphs:

1. Pay membership dues. Membership fee is 1,000 NTD and annual membership fee is 2,000 NTD.

2. subsidy.

3. Self-service fee.

4. Fund yields.

• Article 30: The board of directors shall prepare preliminary and final accounts reports every year, submit it to the general meeting for approval, and report it to the competent authority for verification. The final accounts report should be submitted to the board of supervisors for review first, and the review results should be submitted to the general meeting.

• Article 31: When the Association is dissolved for some reason, the remaining property shall belong to the local self-governing organization or the psychology-related academic institution designated by the competent authority.

Chapter VII | Supplementary Provisions

• Article 32: Students can apply to become a probationary member of the club, and the fees for participating in various activities held by the club are reduced by half. Ordinary members must pay the 15-year annual membership fee to become a permanent member, and they can enjoy the membership rights for life.

• Article 33: The working rules of the association and the general rules of the branch organization shall be stipulated separately.

• Article 34: The Articles of Association shall be implemented after being approved by the General Assembly and submitted to the Ministry of the Interior for the record.
