The College of Humanities and Social Sciences of Taipei Medical University (hereinafter referred to as the College of Humanities and Social Sciences) is very grateful to the Taiwanese Psychological Society for the opportunity to host the 2022 Taiwan Psychology Annual Conference. The 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Taiwanese Psychological Society has had a profound impact on the development of various fields of psychology in Taiwan. The annual conference facilitates academic exchanges between teachers and students across schools, and also drives the development of psychological research. On the one hand, it is in line with international standards; on the other hand, it forms aspects of the local characteristics of Taiwanese psychology research. When Taiwanese psychology has gone through 60 years, we are looking forward to how Taiwanese psychology will innovate across fields and play the social responsibility of psychologists.

Founded in 2011, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, its research institutes and research centers are dedicated to the development of humanities, cognitive neuroscience, law and social sciences. Although the Department of Psychology has not yet been established at Taipei Medical University, the multimodal research on consciousness experience, cognitive process and brain science that the Mental Consciousness and Brain Science team is committed to research is an important field of cognitive neuroscience. We also actively use psychology as an important bridge between humanities, society and medical neuroscience, linking the strength of teachers and students in the whole hospital, and investing in the research and application of psychology, cognitive neurology, social law, health care and other topics. Therefore, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is very much looking forward to the advanced academic exchanges with the Taiwanese psychology community, and also expects to be in line with the world's first-class psychology research, to upgrade the research and apply it and feed it back to the Taiwanese society.

The theme of the 61st Taiwan Psychology Annual Conference is "Resilience under Change". From a macroscopic and multi-level perspective, it will focus on individual mental toughness and the neurological relationship between mental toughness, then from the social and organizational levels, pay attention to how community resilience responds to the difficulties faced by the organization, and finally from the cross-cultural perspective. A psychological perspective that explores how a culture responds to change and maintains its uniqueness and cultural values. We will use multiple keynotes to invite multinational and cross-domain experts and scholars to share resilience research results from different levels and perspectives, and organize relevant theme forums to extend and discuss topics. In addition, considering the diversity of psychological research in Taiwan, we also encourage experts and scholars in various fields of psychology to organize small seminars, and encourage young researchers to publish their thesis results orally or by posters. It is hoped that Taiwanese psychology can provide a resilience mechanism based on empirical evidence in the era of drastic changes, so as to seek ways to promote the resilience of Taiwanese society and people, so as to make the whole people feel physically and mentally comfortable and happy.

Sincerely invite you, from October 15th to 16th, 2022, come to Taipei Medical University to participate in the feast of psychology, and welcome the second 60 years of Taiwanese psychology.
