Special Interest Group Articles
Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1: In accordance with Article 25 of the Taiwan Psychological Association's Articles of Association and to meet the diverse needs of various fields and interdisciplinary professionals in Taiwanese psychology, the "Special Interest Group Articles" of the Taiwan Psychological Association (TPA) are established. Each special interest group operates independently but must comply with the resolutions of the Association's General Assembly and Board of Directors.
Chapter 2: Organization Article
Article 2: To establish a special interest group, an Association's valid general member must submit an application on behalf of the group. The application will be reviewed and submitted to the General Assembly for reference by the Association's Joint Meeting of the Board of Directors and Supervisors.
Article 3: Members of a special interest group can consist of the Association's general members, student members, or non-members. The group must have at least three or more valid general members of the Association, and one person will be elected among them to serve as the convener. The term of office is generally limited to two years, with the possibility of re-election once. If a special interest group fails to meet the minimum requirement of three valid general members, its operations will be suspended. The group can be reinstated if an application for resumption is submitted with the endorsement of three or more valid general members and approved by the Joint Meeting of the Board of Directors and Supervisors.
Article 4: The convener of each special interest group may apply for administrative and financial assistance from the Secretariat, based on the needs of academic promotion. The group is also required to submit an annual written report on its achievements and a list of group members to the Joint Meeting of the Board of Directors and Supervisors. The Board of Directors and Supervisors may provide consultation and assistance related to the group's activities based on their expertise in relevant fields.
Chapter 3: Supplementary Provisions
Article 5: After these organizational bylaws are passed by the General Assembly and announced, they can be discussed, resolved, and modified by the Joint Meeting of the Board of Directors and Supervisors of the Association.
